Michael had mature hardwoods worth keeping and undergrowth that had closed in underneath them - the kind of growth that turns a wooded lot into a wall you cannot see or walk through.

This was selective work rather than a clear-cut. We took the brush and undergrowth out from beneath the canopy and left every established tree standing, then cleaned up the road frontage so the property reads as open woodland again instead of scrub.
